I’ve stood on the 35th floor of skyscrapers overlooking Toronto's Financial District, translating complex social risks for corporate boards.
I’ve stood on dirt roads next to people using their bodies and blocking heavy machinery, witnessing the sheer brilliance of community liaison agents and local leaders finding a peaceful way forward.
And I’ve sat at a global conference table surrounded by humanitarian leaders, where tens of millions in funding to address a refugee crisis were essentially auctioned off—not out of cynicism, but out of a fierce need to move capital fast and efficiently to where it mattered most.
I’ve seen what happens when "Social Performance" is just a corporate checkbox—and I’ve seen the magic that happens when it becomes a core competitive advantage.
From the Field to the Frontline of Change
I didn’t learn social performance from a textbook.I learned it through real-world experience, navigating high-stakes human landscapes where the tension between large-scale organizational agendas and the actual people impacted by them is at its peak.
I’ve spent more than two decades specializing in this complex human landscape. My obsession? Ensuring that the stakeholders who have the most influence and those who are the most impacted—especially women and vulnerable populations—aren't just "managed," but are integral to the success of the legacies we build.
In fact, I believe our survival as a species depends on getting money and power into their hands.
